Michael’s film: Part 1 here. » Part 2 here.
Ottawa resident Michael Grandlouis’ 80-minute film is comprised of Freedom Convoy footage he himself shot. In an extended 3-minute sequence (6:38 - 9:36 minutes of Part 2) his camera slowly pans the fence surrounding the grounds of Parliament Hill.
As people departed Ottawa, many left their handmade signs on the Wellington Street part of this fence. In English and French, these signs say things such as:
Trades & construction 4 freedom
All I want for Christmas is freedom
Free Canadians. No mandates. No lockdowns.
I am fully vaccinated. I am for free choice.
You will never check my papers
Stand together
Thank you truckers & farmers
For cowards, freedom is always extremist
Thank you for fighting for your rights and mine
In 1 week the truckers did more for my mental health than the government did in the last 2 years!
Time to mandate freedom
Enough is enough
An immense outpouring of concern, angst, common sense, and gratitude. Ordinary people expressing themselves in their own words.
This is what grassroots protest looks like. This is what a working class protest looks like.
Love Letter to the Truckers - Ottawa resident celebrates the Freedom Convoy in an 80-minute film
Had I been able to get there from Montana my sign would have said: Sometimes Enough is Too Much
The sooner Canadians get rid of Trudeau the better. He has to be one of the most destructive persons other than Biden that I have seen. Mark Rutte comes in a close third.
Most of the NWO enthusiasts are destructive by their very nature.
