The People Speak - Part 2
Ordinary Canadians expressed unequivocal, enthusiastic support for this protest.
The owners of some of the trucks that went to Ottawa - big rigs as well as pickups - encouraged members of the public to write personal messages on the exterior. These photos, taken halfway through the protest on February 9th, show three sides of one such vehicle.
The inscriptions incorporate hearts as well as XXs and OOs (hugs and kisses). They mention geographic locations such as Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
Overwhelmingly, in both English and French, they express gratitude. They talk about freedom and choice:
