Part 1: Standing on Guard Part 2: Standing on Guard (Part 2)
Today is February 11th. At precisely 11 am a year ago, military veterans gathered in front of Parliament for an event that most Canadians never heard about.
The event was dignified and poignant. There to express solidarity with the Freedom Convoy truckers, former armed forces members formed a line, saluted while the national anthem played, and were then greeted and thanked by members of the public.
I posted these two videos to Twitter shortly afterward:

This comment is off topic gang but I had a thought yesterday - Canadian singer Black Joe wrote and song - a politically motivated song titled “I Will Not Comply” - fact of country music writers and singers is they don’t like to do politics as it usually is a career destroyer (Dixie Chicks). But I can’t help thinking about a song that one of my favourite singers Alan Jackson, could do with some of the info written by you Donna in these podcasts (especially yesterday’s), - Beside his voice and God given abilities- I sincerely believe he is s man of integrity and just might be able to be convinced to put the remainder of his career at risk with the future of global Freedom and Democracy in the balance - I just played one that I’d like everyone else to give a listen to when you get a chance - “Where Were You When”. if he could be convinced that this old man joined the Convoy to Ottawa and froze on the streets for those three weeks not at all for myself but for my and everyone else’s Grandchildren’s future - it’s just possible that he could be convinced to produce a musical message from our Lord to wake up the blind, the deaf and the daft that don’t realize everyone’s future is being threatened unless we all fight these tyrants together. Do me a favour gang - give this a thought and let me know what you think (when you get a chance) - thanks all and have a great weekend.
