We were warned. and ignored it. Too many of our fellow citizens have no qualms about drifting toward communism and that includes the backbenchers of parliament.
The argument against democracy has always been uneducated and uninformed voters. Complacency is appreciated by those willing to circumvent existing systems to their advantage...and 338 MPs are all complicit. All took raises and none can say they stood against tyrannical actions dictated to them by a foreign power.
