Any year in which Canadians from east, west, north, and south join together in common purpose is an incredible year. Any year in which the actions of Canadians inspire freedom-loving people around the world is cause for celebration.
Take a bow, Canada.
2022 was one for the history books. No politician deserves credit here. It was ordinary citizens who stood up, pushed back, and decisively turned the tide. Ordinary citizens got up off the sofa, stood arm in arm, and collectively delivered a message: ‘Enough is enough.’
Today is the final installment of Luc Cherubino’s Freedom Convoy photos.
Unable to work in early 2022 due to another round of government-imposed economic lockdowns, rather than sitting at home this wedding photographer went to Ottawa at his own expense. His spectacular photos record an epic moment in Canadian history. It has been a pleasure to publish them here.
Below is a fun one of Luc himself. More details about him are available here.
If you’ve enjoyed his great photography this past week, if you think the work he did in Ottawa is important (and you have a few dollars to spare), please consider celebrating the New Year by sending him a donation. This can be done via eTransfer, to

You’ll need to supply a security question & answer. Some possible ones:
The Prime Minister’s last name - Trudeau
The city where the truckers protested - Ottawa
The month the Ottawa protest ended - February
The street in front of Parliament - Wellington
Many more of Luc’s photos can be seen in his Facebook photo album titled “Freedom Convoy 2022”

Thank you and happy new year to you Donna.
Thank you Donna for a superb series of photos. The coverage here in Australia was very limited and zero from the majority of the media. I followed it closely through what sites I could, including Jo Nova and Rebel and was absolutely amazed at the stoicism of the truckers and their supporters and absolutely shocked at the retribution sought by Trudeau and his minions. Well done to all involved in fighting for freedom of choice.
