The Most Happening City in North America

Local resident says Ottawa suddenly wasn't boring.

In the compilation video I discussed yesterday, we find more documentary evidence that some locals were delighted when the Freedom Convoy came to town. The gent who begins talking at 38 seconds into this video declares:

I’m a resident of Ottawa. I’m loving this ‘cause this has traditionally been a very boring city and now I’ve been blessed with my little town becoming the most happening city in North America, if not the world.

I’ve been out here - this is my 16th straight day out here. Just loving the energy. It’s peace. It’s love. Like a Woodstock for our generation, you know.

You got Québécois, Anglo, Indigenous - all ethnic groups. Gay, straight - everybody just coming together.

It’s like we’re all one Canadian people…we’re exercising our Canadian-ness for real. We’re becoming a country for real.

Many of the people who experienced this protest are adamant. Something powerful happened in Ottawa. Something historic.
