As often happens when I read your posts Donna, tears come to my eyes. What an amazing contribution Michelle made. I KNOW I would love her if I met her! In fact, I love her, even though I haven’t met her. It is so inspiring to read this and helps me carry on with my own little tiny efforts at Freedom Fighting!

PS I was at the Crystal Ball Cafe in Crystal Beach on Saturday night and met a number of Freedom Fighters! Crystal Ball Cafe defied the lockdowns and stayed open all the way through! I had several conversations where I told people about “Thank You, truckers!”

As an old war history buff - I have read many books (majority of them about WW2) - all the Many Angels of Mercy Fringe Minority Supporters who were involved in the Ottawa “Occupation” reminded me of the Resistance Organization in all the countries that were involved in the actual fighting of the 2nd Great War. Those brave men and women who lives and in many cases their families and even at times the lives of their entire villages were at risk if captured - saved many allied fighter pilots and bomber crews who bailed out from doomed aircraft, from capture. They were provided with food, hiding places, civilian clothes, fake indentities and assistance in returning to their side of the front lines to be able to return to their fight. I know that this old man received many kind acts of love and support from so many super considerate “Canadian Résistance Force Members in Ottawa who some of them solely on their own and others by organizations such as Adopt A Trucker and some supported by donations from across Canada. I can’t put into words the Gratitude, Love and Admiration this old retired trucker who was on the receiving end of those many welcomed acts of food, showers - even a Sleeping bag for protection from the cold during the long cold nights-(having thought this was only a few day venture - I had departed totally unprepared) - I know that I will be going to my grave with Love, respect and admiration for all those Great Canadians who were there for us and not only provided us with assistance but who more than anything boosted our spirits that gave us the ability to “Hold the line” and endure the discomfort of Mother Nature and the abuse of our Government and Goon Cops

Leads one to wonder. Do we really need the formal government? We certainly do not need as much as we have.
