Wow again! The effort made by the truckers (those outdoor toilets don’t sound very cosy in Thunder Bay in January!) and the efforts made by people welcoming them is simply astounding! Also astounding is how JP managed to silence all of this. I no longer listen to any mainstream news. I have lost all confidence.
We had 8,000 people show up to meet the truckers in Norrh Bay, with food, and toiletries, and coffee and fuel and cases upon cases of water. How did the town react? They shut down the exit and forced them to drive through. We still got to see them and that was a lifeline.
