As a War History Buff -- I can’t help but think of That Historical Speech Made By P.M. Winston Churchill after World War 2 ---- “NEVER IN THE FIELD OF HUMAN CONFLICT WAS SO MUCH OWED BY SO MANY TO SO FEW “ ---- He was referring to the small number of super heroic fighter pilots of the R.A.F. During the Battle of Britain against the German bombers of the Luftwaffe which prevented the German invasion of Britain which would most likely have won the War for Hitler! In my opinion I suggest that in Ottawa this time last year and till today- ALL CANADIANS OWE SO MUCH TO THE CONVOY AND EACH AND EVERY SUPPORTER WHO PROVIDED FUEL TO THE TRUCKER’S SPARK THAT PRODUCED THE INTENSE FLAME THAT SO TERRIFIED OUR COWARD OF A P.M. THAT HE FELT HE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO INVOKE THE EMA A YEAR AGO TODAY!
