You Gotta Laugh

Parody of the Prime Minister captures the absurdity of our times.

Greg Wycliffe describes himself as a comedian who provides commentary and reporting in the Great White North. The final lines of his 58-second parody of Canada’s Prime Minister, above, make me giggle:

I don’t care if a trucker is alone for hours on the road and it’s the most isolated job there is. They’re racist for not getting the vaccine. And that is science.

As the western arm of the Freedom Convoy was settling in for the night near Thunder Bay, Ontario (still three days from Ottawa), Justin Trudeau was dismissing the truckers’ concerns and calling them names:

Here was our doofus of a Prime Minister. Talking about “following the science.” Insisting we should get vaccinated to protect others. Six months after the head of the CDC admitted vaccinated people could still spread the virus.

If you included this in a movie script it would be dismissed as overdone and too-idiotic-to-be-believed.
