Nearly a year ago, I told you about the Freedom Puppy people - Jake and Lynnette Klassen (pronounced KLAW-sen) - Saskatoon residents who took part in the Freedom Convoy with a pregnant dog along in their truck. During the extended protest in downtown Ottawa, five tiny puppies were born.
Behold, Ted and Sally! One and the same.
My initial report was based on short videos shot by third parties in Ottawa, along with an Ottawa Citizen story published after the Freedom Convoy had been violently shut down.
A few months later, I reported on Jake and Lynette again, after watching an interview they did with Kyle Cardinal of Not.tv (that interview now appears to be offline).
I’ve also explained why Lynette felt strongly about joining the Freedom Convoy:
For reasons that aren’t important, my own lengthy interview with these good people only happened toward the end of last year. In turn, this led to the discovery of their marvelous videos.
You’ll be hearing more about Jake and Lynette soon :-)
Donna, when you do talk to them, can you ask if he is related to a Reg Klassen from Nanaimo BC? I worked with him some years ago.
Best wishes and thanks again for what you are doing, gs
