Thank You from Four Women
Two fired nurses, a student barred from higher education, a small business owner.
A card of gratitude Rich and Dan received during the three weeks they protested in Ottawa. It reads:
Freedom Fighter,
Thank you for fighting for the freedoms of our country. We appreciate the many sacrifices you’ve made and pray for continued strength and courage. May you know entire communities are behind you. Keep trucking [smiley face]
Sincerely,
Celina - nurse fired due to mandates (Hamilton, ON)
Grace - Nurse fired due to mandates (Brant, ON)
Alana - Student unable to complete studies (Niagara, ON)
Nicole - Small business owner (Cambridge, ON)
I check this site every morning and have yet to leave it in disappointment. Today's brief note from four ladies with unique but common stories of loss of freedom but thankful hearts somehow brought the clarity to my understanding. We have all learned to survive with diminished freedom and suffered in our own way but the truckers galvanized our thoughts. Their protest allowed us to recognize the losses and look to them with hope that their peaceful and strangely joy-filled protest would bring us back the freedom we just realized had been stolen. Thanks for the hope filled reminders each day and Thank You Truckers.
