Teachers for Segregated Education

Saskatchewan teachers wanted unvaxxed kids banned from extracurricular activities in January 2022.

On January 3rd, 2022, Global News reported that Saskatchewan was the only province out of ten in which children were returning to the classroom following the Christmas break.

Unhappy with this state of affairs, the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation issued a press release demanding "proof of vaccination for all activities, including extracurricular."

That's how far Canada had fallen: a teachers' union was lobbying for segregated education. It wanted unvaccinated children to be cut from team sports and drummed out of the chess club and the drama society.

Because their parents had made a medical decision with which the teachers’ union disagreed.

It also wanted students to spend their entire day in N95 masks. And for the definition of ‘fully vaccinated’ to be increased to more than two doses. And it also thought it was a splendid idea to bend the rules so that four-years-olds could get these shots.

Why were they acting as though decades of long term safety already existed when that clearly wasn’t the case? Man, did adults set a dismal example during the pandemic.
