Standing on Guard
Three years ago today, former armed forces personnel supported the truckers in Ottawa.
Today is February 11th. At precisely 11 am three years ago, former armed forces personnel gathered in front of Parliament for an event most Canadians never heard about.
The event was dignified and poignant. There to express solidarity with the Freedom Convoy truckers, they formed a line, saluted while the national anthem played, and were then greeted and thanked by members of the public.
I posted these two videos to Twitter shortly afterward. Between then, they’ve received more than half a million views.
