Raise Safety Concerns, Get Accused of Spreading Misinformation
'I wrote a letter to my College seeking discussion and debate about something I was very concerned about safety wise.'
On the last day of August 2021, Alberta Health Services decreed that all employees, including doctors, needed to be fully vaccinated against COVID by Halloween in order to continue working in hospitals.
Around the same time, Alberta’s College of Physicians & Surgeons was considering whether or not to make these vaccines a condition of a doctor’s license in that province.
After listening in on one of their meetings, pediatrician Dr Eric Payne wrote the College a 19-page letter outlining his concerns. This document was never intended for a general audience. It was addressed to fellow physicians. It’s final five pages are a long list of references - direct pointers to evidence suggesting the vaccines weren’t as effective as health officials were then claiming.
When testifying before the National Citizen’s Inquiry, Dr Payne explained that, 18 months after he sent this letter, a complaint alleging that it spreads “misinformation,” has yet to be resolved. He’s received no formal response to his concerns. Instead, he has been advised that an external opinion is being sought. In his words:
they can’t find, I guess, anything scientifically wrong so they’ve asked for a third [party] opinion.
And so, from what I understand from other doctors in Alberta that have gone through this with the College already - first of all getting an outside contractor to look into this is very abnormal for them.
But there’s a company that they’ve hired…it’s a group of ex-RCMP officers who are now investigating whether or not I spread scientific misinformation when I wrote a letter to my College seeking discussion and debate about something I was very concerned about safety wise.
Wow. Just wow.
The College exists to protect the public. As its website explains, it’s supposed to enure “Alberta’s physicians are qualified to provide the best care possible to their patients.”
But that’s not what’s going on here. Not even close.
Rather than protecting the public, the College did the opposite. During the COVID madness, it became just another arm of the state - just another mechanism by which the dominant narrative was forced down our collective throat. No debate permitted.
How can the public possibly be protected if doctors are persecuted and punished when they try to engage in important conversations?

Asking the RCMP to 'investigate' this research scientist??? While so much else goes un-investigated in our country?? I guess the Mounties always get their man - I'm so disgusted :o((
