I’ve just returned from a week-long road trip into Quebec and eastern Ontario where I had the good fortune to conduct two important interviews in the nick of time for my soon-to-be-completed book, Thank You Truckers! Canada’s Heroes and Those Who Helped Them.
Kind friends who raise grass-fed beef invited me to Sunday dinner and blessed me with two nights accommodation. Gosh, it’s beautiful on their farm. These photos were taken with my iPhone.

And I am already planning a GREAT BIG BOOK LAUNCH FOR YOU DONNA!! Maybe in several locations in Southern Ontario. I am going to do whatever I can to bring this recorded history forward to the public. In fact, maybe I’m going to go to my local bookstore now, a few months before publication, to alert them to this blog to see if they would like to be part of selling your books (because YOU could sell directly to the audience). But hoping they will send notifications to their list so will attract the ignorant and sleepy. But whether or not Different Drummer Books is interested, I will be organizing a book launch for you. Drew a crowd of 150 at an event I organized on the weekend to raise $$ for Mark Trozzi’s defence. So hopefully there will be interest in this too!
I’m putting so much detail out here in case other readers would like to organize something similar in their communities. Be happy to help anyone who wants to do this.
