These two trucks, parked at the Rideau and Sussex intersection for three weeks, drove in from Atlantic Canada. The two flags on the front of the yellow Freightliner represent New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
The vintage black truck with the push bar on the front is a close match for the Mack that starred in the 1978 Sam Peckinpah comedy, Convoy (you can watch it free at Archive.org here.) Like the truck in that film, the hood ornament is a duck rather than the traditional Mack bulldog.
