I’m currently putting the finishing touches on two hefty essays about two more gents associated with the Freedom Convoy.
One visited Ottawa only briefly, but is nevertheless now caught up in the multi-million-dollar class action lawsuit against the truckers. The other spent a full month in the nation’s capital providing an essential service to numerous truckers. I’m looking forward to sharing these stories with you as soon as a few loose ends are addressed. Please stay tuned.
In the meantime, here are some more historical artifacts. These cards were given to Guy Meister, the Nova Scotia trucker who drove the vintage Mack to Ottawa. The two white ones are commercially printed Hallmark cards. The third is homemade.
People gave these cards to people they’d never met before. This isn’t everyday enthusiasm. Something super special was going on :-)
Thank you Donna! My husband and I are going to put up posters to remind local people to gather on the bypasses on the anniversary. Nothing makes my heart happier than knowing other people share the resistance.
Your tax dollars continue to be spent on "mischief trials" that go on for more than 30 days?!?!?!?!?! What an absolute disgrace!!!. The judge should hang her head in shame in that she continues to allow it to continue. Joe Rogan is right to stay away from communist countries. I can't wait to leave!!!
