Convoy Dogs

Truckers brought their dogs to Ottawa.

For some truckers, their closest companion on long hauls is their dog. There were many canines in Ottawa during the three-week standoff. This female Siberian Husky was super friendly:

I believe her name is Katie.

While I was chatting with her owner - a jolly trucker from Ontario - a younger man stopped to give him a hug while walking past. Unrelated by blood, they’d bonded during the Ottawa protest. The younger fella was now calling him ‘dad.’
