Convicted of Mischief
Jay, who brought The Shed to Ottawa, was found guilty by a judge last week.
I’ve told you about Jay, who parked his truck (with a shed on the back) directly in front of Parliament and then built a platform on top. You can read about that here:
Last week, a judge convicted Jay of mischief. He won’t be sentenced until late June. For the next 90 days Jay, his family, and his friends will live in suspense not knowing whether or not he’ll be sent to jail for exercising his inalienable right to peacefully protest his government.
The Rebel News video at the top of this post provides an overview of Jay’s case. Click below if you’d like to start halfway through, where his lawyer talks about what happened in court and what comes next:
What a travesty. The courts are setting a dangerous precedent.
Very sorry to hear this -- long live the Shed!
