Compelling New Book about the Freedom Convoy
Official spokesperson Benjamin Dichter describes these historic events.
Benjamin Dichter, who served as the Freedom Convoy’s official spokesperson, has written a book titled Honking for Freedom: The Trucker Convoy That Gave Us Hope.
It’s a fast paced, compelling read and can be pre-ordered here. Publication date is two weeks from now - Nov. 11th. The back cover says, in part:
Even Canadians can only take so much. When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau imposed mandates designed to kill the job of every unvaccinated cross-border Canadian trucker - no exceptions - common-sense people rallied by the tens of thousands to support trucking convoys to the nation’s capital. They baked cookies. They cooked pots of chili. They waved flags from highway overpasses and stood together to sing “O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.” Benjamin J. Dichter, official spokesperson for the Freedom Convoy, takes the reader inside the non-violent mass demonstration that insisted, “No more!”
FULL DISCLOSURE:
Benjamin and I have only met/spoken once - this past summer at a backyard barbeque. However, the ghostwriter for his book is a mutual friend - veteran journalist John Goddard. In recent months, John and I have traded tips, pointed each other to sources, and discussed the convoy at length. I read an early draft, and provided feedback.
This is the story from Benjamin’s perspective - and his was a wild ride. In the span of a few weeks, he was in an automobile accident, underwent surgery to repair a broken ankle (due to a separate incident), and had his bank accounts frozen.
Appreciate all yours, John Goddard’s and Benjamin Dichter’s hard work to expose the truth…there are tens of thousands of unsung heroes in this war.. all scratching away to expose the truth.. to the benefit of all..
