This blog is a first draft of my upcoming book. All of these stories about working people who played a role in the Freedom Convoy are being woven together. This is Canadian history. Ordinary folk doing amazing things - standing up for themselves and supporting each other in remarkable, unprecedented ways.
As I head toward the finish line, struggling to arrange everything into a readable, entertaining, accurate whole, additional participants continue to come to my attention. Interviews are ongoing, transcripts are being produced, follow-up questions are being posed.
It’s all exhilarating, put the pace this year has been breakneck. I’m hitting the ‘pause’ button on these daily posts for a few weeks, but I assure you I’ll be back with more incredible Convoy stories soon. Happy Thanksgiving weekend, fellow Canadians!

As you show, there were barbarians in Ottawa at the trucker's protest. They were identified by their actions and by their uniforms.
See you at the end of the month Donna and good luck as you get closer to the end and ready to publish..
