Last week, two women - a member of the EU Parliament for Germany, and a lawyer from the Netherlands - addressed audiences in three Canadian cities.
Christine Anderson and Eva Vlaardingerbroek are concerned about the direction in which our societies are headed. They’re also huge supporters of Canada’s Freedom Convoy.
After landing in Ottawa on Thursday, the women were met at the airport by a welcoming party that included Harold Jonker and Jeff Tenhage behind the wheel of the trucks those men drove to Ottawa.
Christine climbed into the cab of Harold’s truck, while Eva took a seat in Jeff’s.
With flags flying and horns honking, they traveled to their hotel in style. Later, they enjoyed a second truck ride - to the Ottawa venue at which they spoke.
